Who am I? Good question! I see myself as a work in progress, and in my younger years that thought filled me anxiety and dread. Now, I'm quite excited about the potential in living my truth and supporting other people's authenticity. I am a white, fat, sometimes able-bodied, femme person. I was trained in Clinical Psychology and received my doctorate in 2020, which was after getting a separate degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology. I mention this because my training and experiences led me to believe the therapeutic encounter can be amazingly curative AND destructive and violent. I found wonderful people struggling in a broken system. For my own sanity, and process in forgiveness and healing, I decided to not pursue licensure as a psychologist or mental health therapist. I switched to life coaching and I couldn't be happier. Working with people to discover their goodness and move toward actualizing their dreams has been a tremendous gift to witness in my work. I work by validating who you are right now and asking questions to learn about your skills, talents, and strengths. I might invite you to focus and/or explore your spiritual and/or religious beliefs, as we unearth that which is important to you. Meditation, guided imagery, and energy work can be part of our work together too. I look forward to meeting you!
